my good times are over and i'm back to work again. was an amazing week filled with purse snatchings, old ruins, amazing cheeses ( cheese is the best thing ever invented by a cow ). I took lots of photos so I should have plenty of material for the blog for the next couple weeks. Brendan did a great job filling in, so i think we will keep him around, which means more posts to read, with two of us now writing. A new site update is around the corner so keep checking back.

So a few of my friends had an art show the other night called “re-inventing the wheel” down in San Diego. It centered primarily around bicycles and other two-wheeled forms of transport. Click on the pic to see more!

So.. I opened CNN today to see a story about pirates.. yes pirates, taking a ship of weapons and demanding a ransom er I mean booty. I didn’t even know they were still around. I hope there were as handsome and swashbuckling as these two.

Well I’m pretty sure Dylan will be happy with all the birthday wishes, thanks guys. Now, you have a mission… my birthday is in April. I’d like a jet pack. I think it would be stellar to fly around without having to buckle my belt and put my tray table in an upright position. In fact, rather than “look over the right wing for a splendid view of the Grand Canyon” I think I’d prefer to take a cruise through it. Please and thank you.

As most of you know, Edmond is based in San Diego. Since we are about 20 miles from Mexico there is an abundance of kick ass taco shops within a hop, skip and a jump of the offices. Today I wanna give a shout out to my personal favorite.. Rico’s Taco Shop in Encinitas CA. I try to eat here as often as I can, but Dylan hates the hot sauce so we don’t go as often as I’d like. Ketchup my ass.

Some of the best things on the menu:

1. Breakfast Burrito (served all day)

2. Veggie Burrito

3. California Burrito

Filed Under (Edmond, the hoff) by Brendan

Thanks for all the awesome caption contest entries.. keep em comin I’m gonna pick a winner tomorrow. In the mean time, David Hasselhoff as a dancing ninja?!?! From the article:

“That’s right, The Hoff is starring in Beverly Hills Ninja 2. No word on what part he’ll play, but I doubt he’ll be the lead. Though if he did, that would be hilarious. The movie is less of a sequel than it is some sort of bizarre reboot. This Beverly Hills Ninjais about a white kid who grows up with an Asian family, and convincing himself he’s the legendary dancing ninja… whatever that is. When his Sensei is murdered, he follows in Farley’s footsteps and heads to Hollywood to track down the killer.”

Mark my words.. if this movie comes out on the big screen there is going to be an Edmond night at the movies here in san diego. I’m holding my breath.
