i get this question all the time and i will have to answer it for years to come. Why did i pick a dinosaur for our logo. From my years of designing i knew it was important to pick a logo that has a personal meaning to me, something i wouldn’t get tired of working with. if design didn’t work out for me i’m pretty sure i would have gone into archeology, there is just something about dinosaurs that i think is incredible. To think that there were these huge beasts stomping around just seems crazy, almost unbelievable, but they really did exist. So the logo reminds me that anything is possible.
do you want to be the first to own a EDMOND shirt? now is your chance, all you have to do is live in Portland, Oregon. that should narrow it down a little bit. then you just have to cruise down to Voodoo Doughnuts. i think you may see where i’m going with this. i’m willing to trade an Edmond shirt for some world famous Voodoo donuts. Check the comment section for the details.
not in the office today, took a sick day. should be back in the saddle tomorrow. nothing too serious but if you want to drive down and set up a midnight vigil outside my window, praying for my quick recovery go right ahead. instead of flowers i suggest you send donuts.
I didn’t take a single picture while i was at the trade show all 3 days. So for those of you that didn’t get to go i will try and take you there through my creative writing, imagine this….It’s like a non stop party where everyone knows you and wants to be your friend. Everyone is laughing and having the best time ever. There is so much free stuff that you should have brought 2 back packs, and when the girl working a tradeshow booth smiles at you, it’s because she really likes you. If you are at all familiar with my writing you know that i’m totally kidding, it was pretty much the opposite of what i wrote.
thanks to everyone that came by the Edmond booth and made the time go by a little quicker.
I’m packing up all the samples and getting ready for tomorrow’s tradeshow, ( agendashow.com ). A couple people asked about how they get in, and if it’s free to the public. It’s mainly for buyers, but anyone with a business card and matching id, can get in and walk around. So i hope that answers your questions, now i won’t go into details on how to make business cards, or tell you that any office supply store sells a ready to go business card kit because this show is for buyers only.
I’ve been watching that show “intervention” on A&E, and it seems that crack can sometimes, in rare circumstances, become addictive? i did not know this. the closest i think i’ve come is eating my friend Maureen’s cupcakes. if you should ever find me sprawled out in the middle of the street with frosting on my face licking an empty cupcake wrapper call A&E.
